Ghana international Edmund Addo has joined newly-promoted Serbian top-flight side OFK Belgrade on loan in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Black Stars midfielder joins the club from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade and is expected to play a crucial role for his side next season.

He is expected to join his new teammates for preseason in order to adapt to life at the club.

The newly promoted outfit are keen on making impact in the upcoming season and are currently busy on the transfer market to strengthen their squad.

Addo spent the second half of last season at Radnicki, making 15 appearances in the Serbian topflight league.

He struggled for game time when he initially joined the Serbian giants and had to be sent on loan for the rest of the season.

The former Sheriff Tiraspol player, who rejoined his teammates at Red Star Belgrade for pre-season last week, has secured a season long loan OFK Belgrade and will compete in the Serbian Super Liga next campaign.

Addo is well known in Serbian top-flight, having featured for Red Star Belgrade, Radnicki Nis, Sparta Subotica. Previously, he featured for Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova before moving to Serbia.

The midfielder will be hoping to establish himself as a key member of OFK Belgrade squad.
