Nsoatreman FC youngster Foster Apetorgbor declares readiness for CAF Confederation Cup campaign

Nsoatreman FC youngster Foster Apetorgbor has declared his outfit readiness for the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The Nsoatre-based club will participate in the Confederation Cup for the first time in history next season after winning their first-ever trophy.

They clinched the Ghana FA Cup trophy to climax the season in style, beating Bofoakwa Tano. Nsoatreman had to stage a comeback after going behind, eventually winning on penalties.

16-year-old Apetorgbor Foster played a crucial role to help his outfit clinch the title. He scored the winning penalty in the much-anticipated clash.

Speaking to Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Apetorgbor disclosed his outfit are ready to compete in the Africa campaign.

“We are prepared for Africa. We know we will be participating in Africa and I can assure Ghanaians that we are ready for it” he said.

The 16-year-old, who is a final-year student at Kumasi High School showed glimpses of good performances in the recently concluded season despite the challenges of balancing school and sports.

The talented player, who joined the Nsoatre-based club during the January transfer window made 17 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and delivered top class performance for the team.

Apetorgbor clinched two Player of the Month awards in the just concluded season.

He is undoubtedly capable of becoming a world-class player who will astonish fans for many years to come if he maintains his current work ethic.
