Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei kicks off Leyton Orient's EFL Cup triumph over Newport County

English-born Ghanaian attacker Daniel Agyei set the tone for Leyton Orient's resounding 4-1 victory against Newport County in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.

Agyei found the back of the net just a minute into the game, with a left-footed shot from the center of the box, assisted by Jayden Sweeney.

The match, held at the Gaughan Group Stadium, saw Agyei start and play for 59 minutes. Other English-born Ghanaian players featured in the game, with defender Sean Clare playing for Leyton Orient and midfielder Cameron Antwi representing Newport County.
