New Barcelona left-back David Oduro has opened up about his playing style following his move to the Spanish giants from Accra Lions on loan.

The 18-year-old, who will join Barcelona's famed La Masia Academy, is eager to make an impact and earn a permanent transfer next summer.

Speaking to SportyTV, Oduro expressed his excitement about the opportunity to play alongside Spanish left-back Alejandro Balde.

"It will be a great feeling (to play with Spanish left back Alejandro Balde) I have always watched him play and I admire him a lot. I am good at both (attacking and defending) I will say I am a left full back and can also play inverted," he said.

"I always do that here (Accra Sports Stadium) in most of the games come inside join the midfield and then create space for the other winger," he added.

Oduro’s transfer is historic, marking the first direct move from Ghana to FC Barcelona. The young defender attracted interest from several European clubs, including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Sociedad, and Shakhtar Donetsk, before settling on Barcelona after a successful trial.
