The Black Princesses of Ghana have departed Ghana for Colombia ahead of the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

The Princesses played a final friendly match on Monday against Avenor All Stars.

In a game played at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Black Princesses lost 3-1 at the end of the exercise.

The game was played after the national team moved camp from Cape Coast to Accra.

After the friendly match, the Black Princesses have today enplaned from the Kotoko International Airport and are on their way to Columbia.

The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will kick off in Colombia on Saturday, August 31.

The Black Princesses are pitted in Group E where they will face off with Austria, Japan and New Zealand.

The Black Princesses will open their campaign against Austria on September 2, before taking on Japan and New Zealand in the other group matches.
