Elmina Sharks will go up against Karela United this weekend on Match Week 2 of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
The two clubs endured defeats on the opening weekend of the Ghanaian top-flight league and are looking to bounce back stronger.
While Elmina Sharks suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Bechem United, Karela United were pipped at home to a 1-0 defeat to West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).
The stakes are now high for either side to win this weekend’s clash or risk sinking to the bottom of the standings of the division.
Elmina Sharks who will be playing at home at the Papa Kwesi Ndoum Park will have the advantage in front of their fans to try and bag all three results.
Nonetheless, Karela United will have the belief that they can cause an upset and will set up in a way to avoid defeat at all costs.
