Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman found the back of the net in PAOK's 3-1 preseason friendly defeat against Belgian outfit Genk.

The match, which was the third pre-season friendly for PAOK, was played in Horst and featured extended halves of 60 minutes each, a first for the team under coach Razvan Lucescu.

The Belgians took an early commanding lead, but PAOK rallied after 20 minutes, seeking to level the scores. A penalty kick by Thomas Murg, awarded after Tsingaras was fouled, was saved by the Belgian goalkeeper. However, Baba Rahman managed to pull one back for PAOK in the 55th minute, converting a corner kick by Despodov to make it 2-1.

In the second half, PAOK dominated possession, controlled the game's tempo, and created several scoring opportunities. Despite their efforts, they failed to find the equalizer. The Belgians capitalized on a deflected shot to score their third goal, leaving goalkeeper Antonis Tsiftsis stranded.

This match served as part of PAOK's preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
