Ghanaian referee, Abdul Latif Adaari has been appointed to officiate the match between Burkina Faso and Nigeria in the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship on Thursday, May 16.

This has been announced by the Ghana FA in an official statement today.

“Abdul Latif Adaari from Ghana has been appointed as referee for the WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations Group B game between Burkina Faso and holders Nigeria.

“The renowned FIFA referee will be assisted by compatriot Emmanuel Dolagbanu (Assistant I) and Sakina Hamidou alfa from Niger (Assistant II) and Sadou Ali Brahamou from Niger (Fourth Referee),” the Ghana FA statement said.

It added, “Latré-Kayi Edzona LawsonHogban from Togo will serve as the Match Commissioner while Igue Brice works as Referee Assessor. The General Coordinator for the game is Boureima Boubacar from Niger.

The match between Burkina Faso and Nigeria will be played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 5 pm.
