The third edition of the campaign promoted by Lega Serie A with UNAR kicks off today, with EA SPORTS FIFA 22 introducing the “Keep Racism Out” kit to support the fight against racism.

Today marks the third edition of the “Keep Racism Out” campaign promoted by Lega Serie A, in collaboration with UNAR (National Anti-Racial Discrimination Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers).

This campaign has been put in place to ensure, equal treatment of everyone, the protection of human rights in football and to keep racism out of stadiums, raising awareness among football fans, in both real and virtual worlds, fighting against all types of discrimination.

To create further awareness of the campaign from Lega Serie A, EA SPORTS has introduced a bespoke kit into FIFA 22 to further spread the educational message.

The kit will feature the Lega Serie A brand colours of dark and light blue with the “Keep Racism Out” logo and orange stripe on the front of the shirts.

"The fight against discrimination in all its forms is a highly topical issue, and thanks to the success over the years of the "Keep Racism Out" campaign something is changing  - said Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Lega Serie A. “This awareness must be a stimulus to do better and better in this battle that is so important for our society. We are extremely proud that also this season EA SPORTS is at the side of Lega Serie A and the "Keep Racism Out" campaign, convinced that through the FIFA 22 video game we will be able to convey this message of respect and inclusion to as many people as possible, especially among the younger generations, who will be the future of a soccer world finally free of all discrimination."

David Jackson, VP Brand, EA SPORTS FIFA, comments: “EA SPORTS stands with Serie A in their fight against racism across not only football but wider society too. Making the “Keep Racism Out” kit available within FIFA 22 creates an opportunity for players to showcase their support for this message.”

The in-game kit will be available in FIFA Ultimate Team from March 18th. For further details surrounding Lega Serie A’s campaign in collaboration with UNAR please visit HERE.
