Ropapa Mensah continued his impressive form, netting his fifth and sixth goals in six games to lead Chattanooga Red Wolves to a 3-1 victory over Richmond Kickers in USL League One on Saturday.

The Ghanaian international’s first-half brace, along with a late goal from Chevone Marsh, secured a dominant win for Chattanooga, marking their second consecutive home victory of the season.

Mensah wasted no time making his mark, scoring just 40 seconds into the match after receiving a long pass from Leo Folla. Despite heavy contact from Richmond’s advancing goalkeeper, Mensah’s header found the back of the net, giving him his fifth goal of the season.

He struck again in the 10th minute, doubling Chattanooga’s lead. Owen Green and Ricky Ruiz maneuvered the ball skillfully, setting up Mensah to slot it past Richmond keeper Pablo Jara.

Richmond Kickers responded by settling into the match and applying pressure on the Red Wolves’ defense. Their efforts paid off when Emiliano Terzaghi scored in the 26th minute, reducing the deficit to 2-1.

However, any hopes of a comeback were dashed in stoppage time. Chevone Marsh capitalized on a rebound from Roberts, tapping the ball past the falling Richmond keeper to secure the third and final goal of the match.
