CS Petrocub cruised to a resounding 7-0 victory over Dacia Buiucani in the Moldovan Super Liga on Saturday afternoon, with Ghanaian midfielder David Abagna getting on the scoresheet.

The win extended Petrocub's unbeaten run in the league to eight games, as they sit comfortably at the top of the table with 20 points.

Abagna, who has been in fine form this season, started the game for Petrocub and played a key role in their dominant performance. He scored the third goal of the game just before half-time, adding to Vladimir Ambros' early penalty and Maxim Potarniche's strike. Mihail Platica scored twice in the second half, while Ambros and Mihai Lupan also found the back of the net to complete the rout.

The head-to-head record between the two teams now stands at six wins for Petrocub, no wins for Dacia Buiucani, and three draws. Abagna's fellow Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Abalora was in goal for Petrocub, while Seidu Basit was on the bench.

Abagna has now scored three goals in seven league games this season and will be looking to continue his impressive form when Petrocub takes on Milsami in their next league game.
