Ghanaian international, Maxwell Woledzi has gradually established himself as one of the top defenders in the Norwegian Eliteserien in the ongoing 2024 football season.
The youngster signed for Fredrikstad FK in 2023 and has worked his way to become a key man for his new club.
After 12 games into the Norwegian Eliteserien, Maxwell Woledzi is in the Team of the Season so far.
This season, TV 2's football experts Morten Langli and Erik Thorstvedt have been tasked with picking the Team of the Season.
The duo agree that the Ghanaian defender sensation and has included him in the current Team of the Season.
“Fischer's teammate Maxwell Woledzi (22), Bodø/Glimt's Jostein Gundersen (28) and Brann stopper Fredrik Pallesen Knudsen (27) make up the back three.
“In order to get the most possible flow in the team forward in the field, we have gone for three defenders. Maxwell (Woledzi) has been a revelation for Fredrikstad, solid defensively, fun offensively,” Morten Langli said when providing an update on the team.
This season, Maxwell Woledzi has featured in all 12 league matches played by Fredrikstad FK.
Reports indicate that it's only a matter of time before he is drafted into the Black Stars.
