Ghana international Denis Odoi has completed his move to Belgian outfit Royal Antwerp in the ongoing transfer window, Footballghana.com can confirm.

The Black Stars defender joins the club as a free agent following the expiration of his contract at fellow Belgian outfit Club Brugge.

The 36-year-old signed a two-year contract for Royal Antwerp, keeping him as the club until 2026.

His arrival at the club comes as a huge boost for Antwerp, who are keen to make impact in the upcoming football season.

The right-back is not new in Belgium having spent almost three years at Club Brugge.

Odoi scored three goals in 39 appearances across competitions for Club Brugge in the recently concluded season in Belgium.

He returned to Belgium in January 2022 after spending over five years at English Premier League side Fulham FC, where he joined from KSC Lokeren in 2016.

Known for his versatility and experience in the game, Odoi is seen as a great addition to the Royal Antwerp ahead of the new season.

Odoi missed the 2026 World Cup qualifying games against Mali and Central Africa Republic due to an injury setback.

In his absence, the Black Stars triumphed over Mali and Central Africa Republic to boost their World Cup qualification chances.
