The Black Satellites of Ghana have safely arrived in France for a three-week tour of Europe.

According to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the tour is to help the Ghana male U20 side prepare for the 2024 WAFU B U20 tournament.

Coach for the Black Satellites, Desmond Ofei travelled with a 22-man squad for the tour.

The team arrived in France on Thursday and is scheduled to play several friendly matches.

“The Black Satellites will play in a series of friendly matches in France and also in Belgium.

“The team will battle Belgian outfit KV Mechelen on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the K. Rumstse SK, Doelhaagstraat, 70, Tourcoing, Nord before facing Royal Antwerp U23 side on Sunday, July 19, 2024, at the Oude Bosuilbaan 54a, 2100, Antwerp,” parts of a statement from the Ghana FA said on Friday.

While in France, the Black Satellites will hold regular training sessions at the Rue de l'Union à 70, Tourcoing, Stadium, Nord.

Coach Desmond Ofei will use the three-week training period to trim the rough edges of the team in preparation for the 2024 WAFU B U20 tournament.
