2021 Ghana Premier League: It’s "unacceptable" to have only 5 points out of a possible 15 - Dreams coach Dormon

Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has expressed his displeasure following the team's position on the Ghana Premier League table following their defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The Still Believe lads suffered a 1-0 loss at the theatre of Dreams on the match day six.

The result sees the club drop to 15th on the league table with only five points after six games played thus far.

"It’s unacceptable to have only 5 points out of a possible 15. One win, two draws, and two losses out of five games is never a good one but we have to put it behind us and look forward to the upcoming games," coach Dormon said after the game as quoted by the club's official website.

"Our last game was bad, we lost our defensive organization, we lost concentration at some moments, and also lost some individual players due to injury. But we have identified our challenges and we look forward to responding in the next game.

He added, "For me it’s not about the next five games, it’s the next game. We don’t deserve our current position and we have to work to move up on the league table."

Dreams FC will be facing Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.
