Fiorentina's last minute victory against Atalanta ended the match at the "Penzo" stadium in Venice to win the Primavera TIMVISION Cup.
The match was immediately intense: the first chance came from Fiorentina, with Toci's header from a corner, the ball going wide. In the 8th minute Sidibe receives the ball in the box, turns and shoots at goal, finding the excellent response of Gabriele Fogli. In the 13th minute Atalanta had a great chance with Cisse who tried to serve Sidibe from the right side of the box, but he was anticipated at the last minute by Kayode. In the 23rd minute Sidibe's header from a corner was saved by Fogli.
In the second half the match remained balanced, without particular occasions from both sides. At the last attack Fiorentina found the goal that decided the match. Favasuli freed himself on the left side of the pitch, kicked at goal and found the rebound of Sassi, the ball came to Corradini who found the goal.
Alberto Aquilani's Fiorentina won 1-0 and won the Primavera TIMVISION Cup for the fourth consecutive time, setting a new record.
