MLS outfit Austin FC sign Ghana star Osman Bukari to bolster squad

Major League Soccer (MLS) side, Austin FC have completed the acquisition of Ghana star Osman Bukari.

The club sealed the deal to sign the player on Thursday, May 30.

Announcing the deal, Austin FC said Osman Bukari has been signed on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

"Austin FC announced today that the Club has reached an agreement with Red Star Belgrade for the transfer of 25-year-old Ghanaian international winger Osman Bukari. Bukari joins Austin FC as a Designated Player on a three-and-a-half-year guaranteed contract through the end of the 2027 season with an option for 2028. The deal is pending receipt of Bukari’s ITC and P-1 visa,” the Major League Soccer side said in an official statement.

Speaking on the deal, Ghana winger Osman Bukari said he is delighted. He has assured that he will do his best for the team to achieve its goals.

“I am very motivated and excited to join Austin FC. I want to do everything I can to help this team, this city, and this fanbase to achieve their goals,” Osman Bukari said as quoted on the website of Austin FC.
