Top Medeama defender Nurudeen Abdulai is attracting interest from English Premier League and Championship clubs, according to reports in the media.

The 19-year-old defender has been a standout for Medeama in the Ghana Premier League over the last two seasons.

He was instrumental when the Yellow and Mauve clinched the Ghana Premier League title for the time in history during the 2022/23 season.

According to FootballInsider247.com, Abdulai has popped up on the radar of several clubs in both Premier League and Championship due to his swashbuckling performance.

The highly-rated defender could depart the Tarkwa-based outfit amid growing interest in the ongoing window.

Following a stellar 2022/23 season, Nurudeen received his debut call-up to the Black Stars squad that faced Madagascar and Comoros in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November last year.

Former Ghana coach Chris Hughton included him in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations provisional squad but missed out on the final squad with a shoulder injury.
