Maxwell Konadu's impressive CV convinced us to hire him - Black Leopards spokesman

South African football club, Black Leopards, has named Ghanaian coach Maxwell Konadu as their new head coach, citing his extensive experience and impressive CV as the key factors in their decision.

In an interview with Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com, a spokesman for the club explained that Konadu's background in coaching youth teams, his international playing career, and his success with top Ghanaian clubs made him the ideal candidate for the job.

The spokesman also highlighted Konadu's success with Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko, where he won the league, and his recent victory in the MTN FA Cup with Nsoatreman FC.

"Coach Maxwell is a coach that has a wealth of experience when we look at his CV we felt this is the person who can bring us back into the PSL. we looked at the coach the coach has had sometime with under 20 or the young team in Ghana," he said.

"And we believe that this coach is not a coach who is scared of giving an opportunity to young players and that is what we looked at. And also he traveled he is a coach who played his football not only in Ghana he played in Portugal, he also played in Germany and we believe by virtue of that he is brings in a wealth of experience as far as football is concerned.

"Also winning the cup last season and also winning the league with one of the best team if not the biggest team in Ghana Asante Kotoko and been involved in the Black Stars the Ghanaian team. The Ghanaian team is one of the successful in the continent so that is what we looked at,"
