Ghanaian coach Maxwell Konadu has been assigned the responsibility of helping South African club Black Leopards achieve promotion to the Premier Soccer League (PSL), as confirmed by the club's spokesperson.
Currently competing in the second tier of South African football, the Black Leopards have set their sights on a return to the top flight. The spokesperson emphasized that the primary objective for the club is to secure a spot in the elite division of the South African League.
To support Konadu in this mission, the club has assembled a diverse and experienced team. This includes Solly Luvhengo from South Africa as the assistant coach, Tendai Tanyanyiwa from Zimbabwe as the goalkeeper coach, and Majaha Ndhlovu also from South Africa as the physical trainer.
"At Black Leopards we are playing in the second tier of the South African soccer league so the most important thing for Black Leopards is that this team needs to be promoted to the elite division that is the South African League top division," the spokesman told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"The most important thing is that the coach will be assisted by Solly Luvhengo who is also from South Africa, and we also have Tendai Tanyanyiwa who is from Zimbabwe and he will be our goalkeeper coach and Majaha Ndhlovu also from South Africa as a physical trainer this team will supporting him in a quest to get Black Leopards back in the Premier soccer league.
"This three years that we will be working with coach Maxwell our ultimate goal is for Black Leopards to go back into the PSL we are not saying that the first season or in the second season but we are looking at this three seasons for promotion. But if it happens in the first season well that will a bonus to us,"
