Former Bechem United winger Clinton Duodu has hailed his move to Cypriot club Apollon Limassol as a significant milestone in his career.

The Ghanaian winger signed a two-year deal with the club after spending four years with Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League.

In his first official interview with Apollon Limassol, Duodu expressed his gratitude and excitement. "Apollo is a great opportunity for me as it is an important step in my career. I want to thank Apollo for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to prove that I can succeed in football," he said.

Duodu, born on June 20, 2005, has quickly established himself as one of Ghana's most promising talents. He made his professional debut for Bechem United at just 15 during the 2020-2021 season and has since featured in 96 matches, scoring seven goals.

Known for his versatility in midfield, Duodu has high expectations for himself and his new team. "I have high expectations of myself and the team. Coming here, I believe that with the infrastructure, the level and the excellent facilities that Apollo has, I will be able to develop even more as a footballer," he added.

His impressive performances have also earned him caps for Ghana’s U-17, U-20, and U-23 national teams, further cementing his status as a rising star in Ghanaian football.
