Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus responds to transfer speculations

Ghana international Mohammed Kudus says it is normal to be linked with a move following his outstanding performance at West Ham United.

The Black Stars midfielder was an instant hit for the Hammers in the recently concluded season, as he established himself as one of the key player for the club.

During the past season, Kudus showcased his skills with eight goals and six assists in the Premier League, along with five goals in the Europa League for West Ham.

Despite transfer speculations, the Black Stars midfielder says he is focused and getting prepared for the 2024/25 football season.

“When you perform at those kinds of levels in a league like this, it’s normal to have rumours and hear about other clubs (being interested),” he says “But right now my focus is getting prepared for the new season and then we’ll see how everything goes” he told The Athletic in an interview.

The Black Stars midfielder is currently in Ghana for vacation for few weeks and will depart to join teammates at West Ham United when preseason training begins.
