Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey has been named the player with the second biggest impact on the Bulgaria league in the 2023/24 season, according to a recent CIES study.

Analyzing six crucial areas of the game, the study unveiled that Tekpetey, who plays for Ludogorets, emerged as the second best player in the league.

Tekpetey's influence on the field has been undeniable, as he showcased his prowess in 30 league matches this season, netting 10 goals and delivering six assists.

Since joining Ludogorets in 2020, Tekpetey has been a mainstay in the team, featuring in 171 games over the course of four seasons, during which he has notched up 39 goals and provided 36 assists.

Despite his impressive club performance, the 26-year-old has been absent from the Ghana national team, the Black Stars, since his debut at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017, where he featured in two games.

With over four years at Ludogorets, Tekpetey is now rumored to be considering a departure from the Bulgarian club this summer, potentially signaling a new chapter in his career.
