Ghanaian defender Samuel Sarfo has officially joined Saudi Second Division side Najran Sport Club on a one-year contract.
Sarfo made the move after his previous contract with AL Taraji expired, marking a new chapter in his career.
Over the past six years, he has showcased his skills in the Gulf Region, playing for various clubs, including a stint with Saudi Pro League side Al Khaleej.
Najran Sports Club announced Sarfo's signing, with club management, led by Mr. Hadi bin Hamad Al-Kulaib, expressing excitement about his arrival.
"The management of the Najran club, headed by Mr. Hadi bin Hamad Al-Kulaib, has completed the procedures for contracting with the Ghanaian international defender "Samuel Sarfo" to represent the first football team in the 2024-2025 sports season."
Sarfo expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm for the new opportunity, stating, "Thank you Holy Spirit," upon completing the transfer.
His experience and versatility as a center-back will be crucial as Najran prepares for the upcoming 2024-2025 sports season, where they hope to make a strong comeback in the league.
