The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has noted that he is hoping the partnership with 5-Star Energy Drink will result in the Black Stars’ qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament.

The Ghana FA on Wednesday, July 3, officially announced that it has partnered with 5-Star Energy Drink, marking another significant addition to the Association's sponsorship portfolio.

Through the deal, 5-Star Energy Drink is now the Official Beverage Partner of the GFA.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, GFA boss Kurt Okraku said the hope is that the partnership will help the Black Stars secure qualification for the fifth World Cup.

"It is our earnest hope and belief that our partnership with 5-Star Energy Drink shall result in our qualification for a fifth World Cup as well as our winning that deeply coveted fifth Africa Cup,” Kurt Okraku said.

The partnership agreement between the Ghana FA and 5-Star Energy Drink is for four years.

According to a communique from the Ghana FA, the deal includes the provision of both products and cash to the GFA on an annual basis.
