Dreams FC have announced lodging a protest against Real Tamale United (RTU) following their 8-1 win in a Ghana Premier League outstanding game on Wednesday in Dawu.
The protest, formally submitted on Thursday to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), alleges that RTU fielded ineligible players during the match.
According to Dreams FC, they had previously communicated their intentions to contest the match to the match officials, with the club captain and team manager raising verbal objections before kick-off.
Among the contentious issues raised is the involvement of Lord Hilary Adabo, listed on the team sheet as an RTU scorer, despite Adabo denying any participation and claiming he did not travel with the team.
In response to the unfolding situation, Dreams FC has opted to refrain from providing further commentary, acknowledging that the matter now rests within the purview of the GFA's appropriate judicial body for resolution.

Dreams Football Club has filed a protest against Real Tamale United for fielding unqualified players in our outstanding Ghana Premier League match played on 12th June, 2024 at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.
The protest lodged at the CFA today is in furtherance to verbal protests raised by our Captain and Team Manager before kickoff after doubting the identities of the opposition players during inspection.
This verbal protest was duly noted and recorded by the match officials before the start of the match.
Dreams FC will not be making any further comments on this issue as it is now with the relevant judicial body of the GFA.
