Dreams FC congratulate Kurt Okraku on his appointment as new WAFU Zone B President

Dreams FC have congratulated Ghana Football Association boss, Kurt Okraku on his latest appointment as the new WAFU Zone B President.

Okraku was sworn into office as the new President of WAFU Zone B during the 14th General Assembly at the Swiss Spirits Alisa Hotel on Saturday May 22, 2021.

The 49-year-old takes charge following the decision of the incumbent Djibrilla Hima Hamidou to step down from the position, one year before the end of his mandate.

Below is a statement from Dreams FC congratulating Kurt Okraku:

"The Management and entire working body of Dreams Football Club officially congratulates Ghana Football Association President Kurt E.S Okraku on his appointment as president of the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) – Zone B.

"Dreams Football Club will always take pride in producing an apt federation president who continues to make mother Ghana proud.

"We wish you the very best and urge you to continue with the good works of developing the game.

"The Club believes your leadership will bring dynamism to the sport and ignite passion across the west African football community."

Kurt Okraku was elected as the President of the Ghana Football Association two years ago.
