The Algerian side CS Constantine has arrived in Ghana ahead of their first-leg match against Nsoatreman FC of the Ghana Premier League in the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round.

The match will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, September 13, 2024, with the return leg scheduled for a week later in Constantine.

The "Smurfs," as CS Constantine are known, touched down at Kotoka International Airport around 3pm aboard a chartered Air Algerie flight and proceeded to their base at Alisa Hotel. However, they are without captain Miloud Rebiai, sidelined with an injury, and Nigerian forward Tosin Omoyele, who faced visa issues. New signing Achraf Boudrama is set to replace Rebiai in defense.

Founded in 1898, CS Constantine is one of Algeria's oldest and most successful clubs, boasting multiple domestic titles.

They will be eager to advance to the CAF Confederation Cup group stage, which kicks off in October, as the winner of this tie secures a spot in the next round.
