Club Brugge CEO Bob Madou has spoken about the upcoming summer transfer window, with one of the key topics being the future of Ghanaian defender Denis Odoi.

The 36-year-old's contract is set to expire, but the club's stance on his extension remains unclear.

When asked about Odoi's future, Madou was cautious with his words, stating that the decision ultimately lies with the player. "Whether Denis Odoi stays? That depends on him," Madou said in an interview with Mid Mid.

Odoi has been a crucial figure for Club Brugge this season, having played a full game in their goalless draw with Cercle Brugge, which saw them crowned as Belgium champions. It was his goal in the 1-0 win over Anderlecht the week before that secured the title for the club.

Odoi made 24 appearances and scored two goals in the 2023/24 Belgian Pro League.

According to transfermarkt, Odoi's market value currently stands at 300,000 euros.
