As the Black Queens gear up for their crucial Olympic Games third-round second-leg qualifier against Zambia, midfielder Freda Ayisi has highlighted the importance of hard work in adapting to the team's style of play.

The England-based player, speaking to the media ahead of the upcoming match, acknowledged the challenges of blending into the team's dynamics but emphasized that rigorous training has been instrumental in her adjustment process.

Despite Ghana suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, Freda remains optimistic about their chances in the upcoming fixture against Zambia.

“I’m adapting and I feel like am doing well especially in training and that is the best way to adapt, just train and work hard with the girls and hope I will be on the same level and we can play football together permanently," she said.

The Zambia vs Ghana qualifier is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Levy Nwanawasa Sports Stadium in Ndola.
