South African club Black Leopards has officially appointed Ghanaian coach Maxwell Konadu as their new head coach.

The club’s spokesman confirmed the news, stating, "Yes, we can confirm that we have appointed him. The agreement we have reached with Coach Maxwell is for three years, starting from the upcoming 24/25 season. He will be with us for the next three seasons."

Currently competing in the second tier of the South African soccer league, Black Leopards aim to secure promotion to the elite division under Konadu’s leadership.

"The most important thing for Black Leopards is that this team needs to be promoted to the elite division of the South African League," the spokesman emphasized during an interview with Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com.

Maxwell Konadu joins Black Leopards after a successful stint with Ghana Premier League club Nsoatreman FC, where he led the team to victory in the MTN FA Cup less than a month ago.
