Ghana duo Andre and Jordan Ayew have visited their native hometown, Paga in the Upper East Region as part of their holidays.

The Ayew brothers returns to their root to spend quality time with family members as they continue their vacation in Ghana following the closure of the 2023/24 season.

Having spent most of the past 12 months playing football, the Black Stars captain and his brother Jordan Ayew joined their family in Paga to have a well-deserved break.

They are expected to rest for the next few months before rejoining their teammates for preseason in Europe.

Andre Ayew saw his contract with Le Havre expired on July but it is unknown whether the Black Stars skipper will continue with the Frecnh outfit in the upcoming season.

He played a huge role when Le Havre survive relegation at the end of the 2023/24 Ligue 1 season. He racked up six goals in all competitions for the club.

Despite his exploits for Le Havre, the former Swansea City star missed out on the Black Stars for the 2026 World Cup qualifying games against Mali and Central Africa Republic.

In his absence, Ghana managed to secure back to back wins in the crucial encounters last month.

Jordan Ayew, on the other side, had a descent season with Crystal Palace and will be hoping to play a key role for the club next season.

He will have to work hard under new manager Oliver Glasner after losing his starting role latter part of the season.

The Crystal Palace attacker stepped up in his brothers absence to lead Black Stars to back to back wins in the World Cup qualifiers.

He scored to seal a 2-1 win over Mali in Bamako before returning home to score a hat-trick against Central Africa Republic as Ghana cruised to a 4-3 win in the game.
