Asante Kotoko announce parting ways with Danlad Ibrahim, George Mfegue and eight others

Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko have announced parting ways with ten players in a massive clear out at the conclusion of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

The Porcupine Warriors are said to be set for a rebuild ahead of the new season.

The club’s captain, Danlad Ibrahim and striker George Mfegue are among the players released. Danlad’s season’s has been a bit of mystery, with the player saying he is not read to play at some point when the opportunity presented itself.

Mfegue has surprisingly featured in only 12 games this season after his 26 and three goals last season.

The talented Isaac Oppong is also among the list of players released.
