The 30-year-old's contract, which was initially set for renewal, will not be extended.

The shift in circumstances is attributed to the arrival of new head coach Peter Zeidler. According to the report, Peter Zeidler's future plans for the team favor the development of younger players, which could significantly limit Christopher Antwi-Adjei's playing time. This is evident in the impending signing of Samuel Bamba, a 20-year-old German right-winger from Dortmund, who aligns with Peter Zeidler's vision.

Christopher Antwi-Adjei, who is deeply disappointed by this development, may not have to wait long for a new opportunity. According to Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung (WAZ) information, a Bundesliga club is reportedly interested in the Ghanaian winger, and an agreement could be imminent.

In the 2023/24 Bundesliga season, Christopher Antwi-Adjei made 25 appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
