In their clash during Matchday 30, the Porcupine Warriors suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat against Chelsea at the Golden City Park over the weekend.

Initially taking the lead with a goal from Steven Mukwala, Kotoko faced an equalizer from Stephen Amankona, settling the first half at 1-1.

However, despite their efforts, Samuel Boadu's squad clinched a late victory with Mezack Afriyie's crucial goal for Chelsea in the second half.

Reflecting on the outcome, Ogum expressed disappointment over his team's failure to capitalize on scoring chances.

"We deserved the win. Our performance was superior, and we squandered some promising opportunities," he lamented.

Hinting at unspecified external pressures, he added, "I won't name names. It's about intimidation, plain and simple."

This defeat leaves the Porcupine Warriors languishing at the 11th spot in the league standings, tallying 40 points.

However, Asante Kotoko aims to rebound strongly as they gear up to face arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in their upcoming Matchday 31 showdown at the Baba Yara Stadium next weekend.
