Ludogorets have promised to let me leave this summer - Bernard Tekpetey

Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey has revealed that his team, Ludogorets Razgrad, have promised to let me leave this summer.

The 26-year-old said the promise from the club was that he helped them win the league title again and they would let him leave this summer. Ludogorets won the league and the Bulgarian Cup again this season.

Bernard Tekpetey has been instrumental again for the Bulgarian giants this season playing in 30 league games, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists.

Speaking on his future, Tekpetey said, “I sat down with them and they promised me that when I help them to win the league again, they will let me go. I hope they keep their word,” he told Joy Sports.

Bernard Tekpetey has been at Ludogorets since 2020. He has featured in 171 games in those four seasons, scoring 39 goals and providing 36 assists.

The former Schalke 04 forward has not played for the Black Stars since 2017 when he made his debut at the Africa Cup of Nations, featuring in two games.
