The seasoned right-back recently concluded his tenure with Medeama SC, becoming a free agent.

Amidst a significant overhaul within the Porcupine Warriors' squad, Amoako appears set to return to Kumasi.

He is expected to join the team's pre-season preparations shortly, under the guidance of coach Prosper Ogum, as they regroup following a challenging previous season.

Amoako brings a wealth of experience in the Ghana Premier League, having previously featured for Ashantigold and Medeama.

He notably contributed to Medeama's campaign in the CAF Champions League last season, helping the Tarkwa-based club advance to the competition's group stage.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko is gearing up for the Democracy Cup clash against Hearts of Oak scheduled for July 17, 2024.
