Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko are expected to bolster their squad with the signing of Ivorian midfielder Sylla Mohamed ahead of the new season.

The Ghanaian giants has endured a difficult 2023/24 campaign and strengthen their team for the upcoming season as they seek to make a meaningful impact.

According to reports, the Porcupine Warriors are set to snap up Sylla Mohamed from RC Abidjan to augment the team for the new campaign.

Kotoko are currently occupying 10th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 40 points after 29 matches.

Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and members of the IMC are determined to fix the club’s shortfalls ahead of the new season, hence the decision to sign top players for the team.

The Ghanaian giants has mostly relied on Ugandan international Steven Desse Mukwala, who has 11 Premier League goals so far.

However, the impending arrival of Sylla Mohammed will add some bite to the team attack ahead of the new season.
