Braydon Manu, a German-born Ghanaian attacker, has revealed his preparedness to make a return to the Black Stars in the future.

He was quoted in later interviews saying he didn't deserve a Black Stars call-up at the time.

Initially drafted into the Black Stars squad by CK Akonnor in 2022 for the World Cup qualifying matches against Ethiopia and South Africa as a late call-up, the former Darmstadt winger missed out on his debut, observing both games from the stands.

Despite not being included in Otto Addo’s recent call-up, Manu has stated his readiness to rejoin the team and play a role in their upcoming assignments.

“I am ever ready to play for Ghana. As long as I am fit and available, I am ready to honour any call by the coach and the Ghana Football Association,” he said to JoySports.

He also rallied support for the Black Stars in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

“I wish the team well and hope public also supports the team in the upcoming games as they work to secure qualification,” he added.

Now a free agent at 26, Manu faced a challenging season with Darmstadt in the Bundesliga, spending most of the campaign on the sidelines due to injury.
