CAF appoints Gambian referee Lamin Jammeh to officiate Medeama vs. CR Belouizdad game

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed match officials for the CAF Champions League match between Medeama Sporting Club and CR Belouizdad.

The Ghanaian champions will host the Algerian side later this week in a Round 2 game of the group stages of the CAF Champions League.

Ahead of the game, CAF has appointed referee Lamin Jammeh to handle the match as the centre referee.

“The Confederation of African Football has appointed Lamin N. Jammeh from The Gambia as the Centre referee. Jammeh will be assisted by compatriots Abdul Aziz Bollel Jawo (Assistant I), Omar Darboe (Assistant II) and Alhasan Baboucarr Bass (Fourth Referee),” a statement from the Ghana FA said on Monday, November 27.

It added, “Rene Williams Sere from Cote D’Ivoire is the Match Commissioner. Other officials for the game include Peter Elgam Edibe -Referee Assessor – Nigeria, Ozoemena Joseph Chukwu - General Coordinator – Nigeria, Ibrahim Sannie Daara - Media Officer - Ghana and Odochi Joan Efughu - Security Officer – Nigeria.

The match between Medeama SC and CR Belouizdad will be played on Friday, December 1.

The game will kick off at 4 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
